Ok, I have been offline for a while as some people may have realized. First if all, traumatic experience of losing everything on a pen drive, which held quite a few stories I was writing that could have gone up here. Completely gone because I'm an idiot not to save it on the computer itself.
*hits head with a ginormous spanner*
So that';s point one. May take a while to rewrite some stories and get the computer back running because we are currently attempting to recover ANYTHING, which includes, hopefully, a 177pg story, my prized possession!! Argh!
Anyway, I have a mini poll to put in here as well. Attempt at publishing is going to be underway in the next few months, so I want people here to vote on which story should be published. Send a reply with the title.
The choices are:- The whole Magics Series-with some rewriting and editing, yes.
- Letters to My Boyfriend (it's on page two)
Ok, so obviously this means that the stories will be taken off MMF so don't just choose the one you hate, to keep the one you love on this website.
Of course, as I said in the shoutbox earlier, this website has its administrators leaving in the South Island of little ole NZ. And if you watch the news, we just experienced a pretty big earthquake. So, if we are not on in the upcoming week or so, its because we're putting our rooms back together.
*AGH! Aftershock! Grips computer desk!!!*
All right, we're all good. For those of you who do geography, we had P waves. Side to side.
Yes, Niles, I'll have a martini, shaken, not stirred. So do bear with us as we are shaking in our bots/houses.
If you want to check out how many aftershocks we've had, there's this cool website NZ has. Here's the link.
http://www.geonet.org.nz/earthquake/quakes/recent_quakes.htmlit does show all of the NZ earthquakes on a map but do look to the south island and the great cluster of stars over the city Christchurch.
Was that another aftershock?
And yes, I slept in the doorway of my bedroom so that I wouldn't wake up on my bed, looking at the ceiling as it might have fallen on my face.
Geez, this thing is getting long. So vote, and if you're religious, pray for those who have to evacuate their home sand that nobody is killed! (two major injuries so far).
Vote!
