When a junior nurse at a small private hospital one will often get those essential  little  jobs that the matron has little time to do.
It was a hectic day. Several operations were scheduled and somehow the chief surgeon and his helpers had to be coffeed before they set too for a very complex and critical  heart  operation.
  .
So she asked a junior nurse  to make some yummy sandwiches for the  surgical team.

With great enthusiasm the junior nurse raided the staff fridge and found some  tasty looking meat filling, jams, and other ingredients. She  Carefully  made several sandwiches for the honored doctor and his helpers.

Proudly, this offering was sent to the surgeons who found the sandwiches
Splendid and delicious.
They praised the matron for her fine efforts, considering that over the  next few critical hours they surgeons require  their best to save the life of their patient.

The matron accepted the praise gladly and later passed it on to the junior nurse.
And out of curiosity, the matron said, what kind of meat had the junior nurse filled these popular sandwiches with?


 Something she found in the fridge ,near the top, ”Oh Matron,” the junior nurse said, “it looked so good.” She thought it was just the right for such an esteemed groups lunch.

The matron put her hand to her mouth.
And said to the junior nurse,
“you have just fed our most senior surgeons with my cat food.”
